Introduction

Projects play a central role in organizing and managing genomic samples within the Gencove platform. They provide a structured framework for grouping related samples, enabling the creation of distinct workspaces for different studies, experiments, or research projects.

Within projects, batches can be created to organize samples, VCF files can be merged for combined analysis, and sample manifests can be generated to track detailed sample information.

Additionally, within projects, existing samples can be imported from other projects, unnecessary data can be deleted, and previously archived samples can be restored. By leveraging projects, genomic workflows can be streamlined, ensuring that genomic data is well-organized, easily accessible, and ready for analysis
